Hoot’s biannual retreats are much-needed and fully branded affairs. We get a rush from setting our out of office emails on those atypical OOO days, and we capitalized on that feeling at our summer retreat.

One of our core values is joy, and we wanted our retreat to provide space for our team to find joy and remember that unplugging and recharging matter. Work is a marathon, not a sprint, and taking time to slow down and connect with yourself is important.
When creating our retreat brand, we experimented with bold colors and playful messaging, taking full advantage of the opportunity to flex our creativity — and sprinkled in a bit more playful messaging than we could typically get away with.
Building retreat brands that are separate from our normal standards creates an element of delight that simply wouldn’t be possible with the same HEX color codes we see every day. And above all, we want our office retreats to delight our team and build on the brand culture we’re creating.
