We hold two internal retreats each year, one in the summer and one around the holidays. Our December retreats replace basic holiday happy hours or office dinners, which are forgettable at best and stressful at worst. Instead, we give our employees what they really want — a day of total rest and relaxation.
Spaliday
Our December retreat, appropriately named ‘spaliday,’ is exactly what our team needs at a draining time of the year. To bring spaliday to life, we pay attention to every detail, including the offsite venue, the inspired event brand, and the merchandise, which has to be both fully branded and completely comfortable.
Spaliday is a staple on Hoot’s internal calendar, but we create new brands each year to keep it interesting. Even years after the fact, our team can still remember each spaliday by its brand name — and the immersive experience it provided.
